Common Questions

What should I wear?

Come as you are! There is no dress code at JNPC for our guests. Our members are encouraged to dress formally, as we believe it is a way to show respect to God. However, we want you to feel comfortable and welcome, so please wear whatever you feel best in.

How long is the service?

Our Sunday services typically run about 90 minutes. Wednesday evening services are usually about an hour.

Is there parking available?

Yes, parking is available on the surrounding streets.

Is there something for my children?

Yes, we have Children's church on Sundays at 10am. Children are always welcome in the main service. We love seeing families worship together.

Do I need to bring a Bible?

No need to bring one — scripture references are displayed during the message. You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Otherwise our church family is happy to share their Bibles with you.

What happens after the service?

After service we encourage everyone to stay for a brief moment of fellowship. It is a great time to meet one another and connect with our church family.

What is service like?

Our services are lively and engaging. It is a mix of worship, prayer, a message rooted in scripture, and a powerful presence of God. We encourage everyone to participate as they feel led, whether that is singing, clapping, raising hands, praying, or simply listening and taking it all in. We want you to feel free to worship in a way that is authentic to you.

What if I don't have a ride to church?

We understand that transportation can be a barrier for some. If you need a ride to church, please reach out to us at (559) 679-3289 and we will do our best to connect you with someone in our church family who can help.
